Arcade games

You certainly heard about Space invaders, Galaxian, Pac-Man, Battlezone, Donkey Kong and other games of the same kind played on a game room or online ? They are all arcade games which can be played in coin-operated entertainment machine. Even adults know them. But do you know that the first arcade games were made in the 20s and were installed in the park of Midway? At that period, some arcade games claimed predicting people’s future, or played with mechanical music. Since that time, these games did not stop evolving until the appearance of pinball machine also called “flipper” or “billard électrique” in French in the 30s.
